1 - Personal information collected:

Technoflex International collects your personal information for the purposes of customer service, sales and promotion of its products. We collect your first and last names, physical addresses, emails, telephone or cell phone numbers, information related to payment for the product (bank or credit card number) in order to ship you the product(s) you purchase, provide you with customer service and after-sales service, manage billing and process payments. We also collect your personal information when you subscribe to our newsletter, register your product or when you complete a form on our websites and platforms (technoflex.ca; technoflexintl.com; chic- sheds.com; Facebook, LinkedIn, Google; third-party site of our distributors).

Please also note that “cookies” are captured and used when you visit our various websites and allow us to keep your preferences for the display language, to keep the content of your shopping cart, to trace your browsing for statistical or advertising purposes.

2 - Purposes for which personal information is collected:

The personal information collected by Technoflex is used by Technoflex and its affiliated partners to sell you a product, offer you customer service or after-sales service related to a purchase made from Technoflex directly or from a distributor of our products.

Personal information collected using the newsletter subscription form, or when registering a product, may be used by Technoflex to inform the consumer or subscriber about the company's products and/or to encourage the consumer to purchase new products.

Personal information collected using the unsolicited application form or application submission form is only collected and used for the purposes of the selection and hiring process.

The various websites belonging to Technoflex use cookie systems which identify and capture the IP address, date and time of the visit as well as the pages visited, and the actions taken on our sites. This information can then be used to help Technoflex better generate its various online advertisements and reach its target audience.

3 – People within Technoflex and its affiliated partners who have access to information:

Personal information is accessible and used only by the people responsible for preparing and shipping orders for Technoflex products directly from Technoflex and/or from one of our distributors.

Personal information collected when registering a product or subscribing to a newsletter is used by the marketing team for information and promotion purposes of the products and services offered by Technoflex.

The personal information collected when visiting our various websites (IP address, pages visited, actions taken) can be used by Technoflex to better generate its online advertisements and better target its customers when creating and publishing an online marketing campaign.

Under no circumstances will Technoflex use, share or sell the personal information obtained for purposes other than those mentioned above.

4 – Means by which information is collected:

Personal information is collected at Technoflex from online forms, from transmitted emails, upon receipt of direct orders or placed with a distributor and transmitted by this distributor by email or through internal computer systems. Our various websites use “cookies” (connection cookies) which allow the marketing team to better generate online advertising and target potential customers for its products. The information is mainly contained in the different IT systems used by the company (ERP, CRM, CMS, email server, data server).

5 –Measures that can be taken to refuse the collection of personal information and the possible consequences of refusal:

You have the right to refuse the collection of your personal information by not completing the online subscription and registration forms.  by refusing cookies on our various websites. You can also refuse the right to data collection by writing to us at the following email: vpatry@technoflexintl.com. Any refusal to provide the requested information will result in difficulty or even an inability for Technoflex to provide the requested products/services. Technoflex cannot therefore be held responsible for the non-delivery of a product/service when the necessary information to perform the sales or services is absent, non-existent or a right of refusal has been exercised.

8 – Measures taken to ensure the confidentiality and security of personal information.

Technoflex International implements a series of measures to ensure the confidentiality and security of personal information and the proper use of the data collected. Among other things, Technoflex International uses data processing systems which are equipped with firewalls, and which require secure connection information to these systems (usernames and passwords given to people who must provide the services only). Technoflex also uses physical measures such as locking screens, locked premises and an alarm system on the building which houses the information systems. Technoflex has also implemented administrative measures such as the adoption of a confidentiality policy as well as a personal information governance practice.
